Review by hotel critic
The tranquil setting of this hotel, nestled in a rural area near Bielefeld, was a breath of fresh air. the original water mill architecture added a unique charm to the surroundings, creating a serene atmosphere. the staff's hospitality was exceptional, making us feel truly welcome. The spacious room with a great shower was comfortable and elegantly designed, offering a relaxing retreat. the view of the water flowing by the mill was soothing, adding to the overall experience. the breakfast served was delicious and fresh, setting a positive tone for the day. While the location was a bit secluded, the peaceful environment was perfect for a weekend getaway. However, the distance from downtown Bielefeld might be a consideration for those seeking more urban amenities. In terms of value, the hotel offers a serene retreat with attentive service, making it a good option for those seeking a peaceful escape. Overall, Wassermühle Deppendorf strikes a balance between luxury and cost-effectiveness, providing a comfortable stay amidst the beauty of nature.
